"FOR AS JONAH WAS THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS IN THE WHALE'S BELLY;
SO SHALL THE SON OF MAN BE THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS IN THE HEART OF THE EARTH" (SAINT MATTHEW 12:40). (24x3=72 HOURS). |
The Friday crucifixion date is just another myth invented by Emperor Jesus Constantine at the Council of Nicaea. "Fish Friday" was a special day for the pagan to honor fish god Dagon. Add one letter to Dagon and it spells DRAGON.

Messiah rose from the dead after sunset on Saturday evening. First Lady Miriam Magdalene discovers the Empty Tomb before down on the first of the Sabbaths. |
The Messiah died on Wednesday about 3 P.M. Before sundown on Wednesday, Joseph of Arimathea hastily wrapped the body of the Messiah in a single linen cloth (Gk. sindon), and departed to rest on the upcoming Passover Sabbath, called a High Day or Day of Preparation (St. John 19:31).
On Friday he arrived with Nicodemus, and they both embalmed the body with spices and linen bandages (Gk. othonia), and a separate piece for the head. During that day the devout women also purchased spices, but when they reached Golgotha they saw the Roman soldiers guarding the tomb. As a result, they decided to return after the weekly Sabbath.
When Saint John arrived and looked into the tomb he saw the linen bandages and the napkin that was wrapped around his head (St. John 20:7).
It's time to dump that Roman Catholic "Good Friday" crucifixion date overboard as opposed to the Holy Scriptures and sound reason! There is no way that all the momentous events that happened between the crucifixion and the Resurrection could be squeezed into a 24 hour period.
