It is beyond belief that most people know about the divine Name JEHOVAH from a Jesuit financed organization named the Watchtower "Bible" and Tract Society with headquarters in Brooklyn, NY.

In 1961, the Witchtower published a "Bible" version called the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures!!

Unfortunately, the divine name JEHOVAH was omitted from most Bibles since the Reformation. However, an edition of the Bible appeared in 1901 called the American Standard Version which restored that august Name in many missing places.

The divine name of the Almighty JHVH (the Tetragrammaton) is consistently rendered Jehovah in the American Standard Version of the Old Covenant, rather than Lord as it appears in the King James Bible.

The American translators were tired of the fake "Jews" hiding the Name of the Almighty, so they restored it in the places where it appeared in the Masoretec text:

But the American Revisers, after a careful consideration, were brought to the unanimous conviction that a Jewish superstition which regarded the Divine Name as too sacred to be uttered, ought no longer to dominate in the English or any other version of the Old Testament. (Preface to the American Standard Version).

Here is just one verse from the beloved Shepherd Psalm:

Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want. (Psalm 23:1, American Standard Version).

The American Standard Version was a joint project with the English Revised Version of 1881. 2 Jesuits in disguise strong armed all the other committee members into adopting a corrupt Greek text.

Most modern translations use the Westcott and Hort corrupt Greek text for the New Covenant portion of the Bible.

The ASV editors were really on the right track at restoring the divine Name and they would have produced a superb translation except for one glaring ERROR . . . they used the Wescott and Hort corrupt Greek text for the New Covenant . . . which is missing thousands of words found in the Textus Receptus or Byzantine Greek text.

For this reason, the translation never became popular with the common people. The Witchtower just plagiarized this translation and changed it to suit their false doctrines. Then, they built their organization on the premise that they alone had the correct name for God. Shades of Jerome's Latin Vulgate translation.

The Witchtower eliminated the 2 JEHOVAHS!!

The Witchtower, like the Muslims and fake "Jews," reject the Holy Trinity and believe in the absolute oneness of God. Their translation completely eliminates every reference to the deity of Christ and the person of the Holy Spirit.

While claiming to restore the divine name JEHOVAH in their translation, they omitted it from the most crucial verse:

The utterance of Jehovah to my Lord is: “Sit at my right hand Until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.” (Psalm 110:1, Witchtower translation). When Christ quoted that verse to prove he was JEHOVAH, the Witchtower translates it like this:

Jehovah said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies beneath your feet”’? If, therefore, David calls him ‘Lord,’ how is he his son?” And nobody was able to say a word in reply to him, nor did anyone dare from that day on to question him any further. (Matthew 22:44-46).That verse originally had 2 JEHOVAHS in the original Hebrew and the Septuagint, otherwise Christ would not have been able to use it to silence his critics.

The Witchtower say Christ was born of a MAIDEN!!

Isaiah chapter 7 contains the famous prophecy of the virgin birth of the Messiah. Here is that verse from the King James Version:

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. (Isaiah 7:14).

The Witchtower followed the corrupt reading of the Tanakh which changed virgin to young woman. Here is that verse from the Witchtower translation:

Jehovah himself will give YOU men a sign: Look! The maiden herself will actually become pregnant, and she is giving birth to a son, and she will certainly call his name Im·man´u·el. (Isaiah 7:14, Witchtower translation).

Here is the dictionary definition of a MAIDEN:

1. a. An unmarried girl or woman. b. A virgin.

Maidens get pregnant every day thousands of times. That is no supernatural sign . . . except to the Witchtower!!

The 2nd JEHOVAH was demoted to just a god!!

The Witchtower demoted the second divine JEHOVAH to just a god....Here is John 1:1 from the King James Bible:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1).

Here is that same verse from the Witchtower translation:

In [the] beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. (John 1:1).

The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we do not stone thee; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. (John 10:33, King James Version).

The Jews answered him: “We are stoning you, not for a fine work, but for blasphemy, even because you, although being a man, make yourself a god.” (John 10:33, Witchtower translation).

Here is another verse written by the Apostle Paul that proves the divinity of the Messiah:

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the nations, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (I Timothy 3:16).

Here is that same verse from the Witchtower translation:

Indeed, the sacred secret of this godly devotion is admittedly great: ‘He was made manifest in flesh, was declared righteous in spirit, appeared to angels, was preached about among nations, was believed upon in [the] world, was received up in glory.’ (I Timothy 3:16).

The list of translation errors is endless....The only worse translation is Jerome's Latin Vulgate which the Witchtower copied in a number of places.

DAMNATION is annihilation in the Witchtower translation!!

Perhaps the deadliest of all the false doctrines of the Witchtower is the teaching that GEHENNA or the Lake of Fire is annihilation or the cessation of existence:

Gehenna was the garbage dump outside Jerusalem and Joshua used it as a visual aid to describe the eternal state of the wicked in HELL or the Lake of Fire:

And do not become fearful of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; but rather be in fear of him that can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. (Matthew 10:28, Witchtower translation).

Serpents, offspring of vipers, how are YOU to flee from the judgment of Gehenna? (Matthew 23:33, Witchtower translation).

But I will indicate to YOU whom to fear: Fear him who after killing has authority to throw into Gehenna. Yes, I tell YOU, fear this One. (Luke 12:5, Witchtower translation).

In the Appendix to the Witchtower Reference Edition, they say this about GEHENNA:

No living animals or human creatures were pitched into Gehanna to be burned alive or tormented. Hence the place could never symbolize an invisible region where human souls are tormented eternally in literal fire or attacked forever by undying worms. Because the dead criminals cast there were denied a decent burial in a memorial tomb, the symbol of the hope of the resurrection, Gehenna was used by Jesus and his disciples to symbolize everlasting destruction, annihilation from God's universe, or "second death." and eternal punishment. (Witchtower Reference Edition, p. 1575).
